Design guidelines
File preparation
Supply a print-ready PDF with fonts embedded or converted to outlines and images prepared at 300 dpi.
Bleed and safe area
Add 3 mm bleed on every edge and keep important text, logos and images at least 4 mm inside the finished edge.
Colour setup
Prepare artwork in CMYK. Metallic and pearl materials influence the final colour, so use strong contrast and avoid relying on subtle pale tones.
White artwork areas
White cannot be printed on metallic gold, metallic silver, metallic white or pearl marble. Any white element will appear as the natural colour and finish of the selected material.
Folded formats
Keep important elements clear of the fold line and supply the inside and outside panels in the correct reading order.

Which material should I choose?
Choose PVC for durability, metallic stock for a gold, silver or white shimmer, or pearl marble for a softer light-catching surface.
Can white ink be printed?
No. White ink is not available for the metallic and pearl materials. White areas in your design reveal the natural material colour.
Are PVC cards waterproof?
PVC is more durable and tear resistant than paper, but we do not sell these cards as waterproof.
How should folded artwork be supplied?
Supply clearly labelled inside and outside artwork with the fold position respected. The files are checked when you upload them, and you approve the proof before checkout.
When do I upload the artwork?
Upload and approve print-ready artwork before checkout, or choose ArtCreators design to send a brief after checkout.
