Bleed and safe area
Make your page the width and height you type plus 5 mm bleed on every side, and keep text and logos at least 10 mm inside the cut line. Example: a 20 × 10 cm window sticker needs a 210 × 110 mm page. Picture files need at least 150 dpi at full size.
Custom shape cut line
For the Custom shape, add your cut line to the same PDF page: a vector outline on the top layer, 1 pt wide with no fill, in a 100% magenta spot colour named CutContour. Keep it at least 5 mm inside the page edge so your design runs 5 mm past it.
Design online isn't offered for the Custom shape. Upload your file, or choose Design with ArtCreators and we'll draw the cut line for you.
Viewing direction
Confirm whether the design will be read from inside or outside before finalising the adhesive side and artwork.
Contrast
Use suitable contrast for the surrounding light and the surface behind the window sticker.
Transparent material
On transparent film there is no white ink. White and very light parts of your design stay clear, and colours look lighter. The glass and whatever is behind it show through, so use strong colours that read well against the view.
