Print-ready artwork
Keep your logo and any important detail safely inside the selected print area — 10 × 10 cm on the chest, 28 × 20 cm for a large full-colour print and 28 × 28 cm for screen print — and leave clear space around seams, hems and the hood or collar.
Vector artwork is built from lines rather than pixels, so it stays sharp at any size. Pantone or spot-colour logos should always be supplied as vector, and screen print needs one clean colour separation per ink.
Check that the artwork stays legible against the t-shirt colour you have chosen — a dark logo on a dark garment will not read from a distance.
Helpful answers
Full colour print is a digital transfer: the design is pressed onto the fabric from a special film with heat and pressure. It gives high-resolution, full colour prints with fine detail and is the most economical choice for smaller runs. Screen print pushes ink through a mesh screen onto the fabric for vibrant, long-lasting prints in up to four colours, and works out cheaper on larger runs.
Please supply your design in vector wherever possible. Vector artwork is built from lines rather than pixels, so it stays sharp at any size, and a logo made up of Pantone colours should always be supplied that way.
Wash inside out at a maximum of 40 degrees. Do not iron over the print.
Printing on a garment is not like printing on paper - no two pieces are identical, so the position of the print can vary very slightly from one to the next. The difference is minimal and is rarely visible once the garment is worn.
